History: This a picture of the Australian convict ship, the Edwin Fox. It's the last convict ship still in existence today. It's last voyage was carrying 280 convicts from England to Australia. That was in August, 1858. The average sentence was 11 years and 40 people had received life sentences. [898 X 468]
