History: Greco-Irish writer Lafcadio Hearn with his wife Setsuko and son Kazuo in 1895. Hearn was a lecturer at Tokyo Imperial University and was perhaps the first westerner to gain Japanese naturalisation due to marrying his wife, Setsuko, the daughter of a Samurai family. [560x800]
