History: Franja Partisan Hospital was a secret World War II hospital built and hidden in difficult and rugged terrain in the remote Pasica Gorge in western Slovenia. It was run by the Slovene Partisans. Almost 600 wounded men and women were treated there, 1943. [680x761]
