Gif: "Using iphones for cinemagraphs?"

I have a general question. I purchased Cinemagraph ios because I wanted to do cool pictures like all of you guys. But, I notice that there are a lot of elements of these photos that I can't emulate using an iphone, like aperture and depth of field. I'm wondering if any users here use iphones often for producing cinemagraphs and any general tips or tricks they could provide so that I could improve my cinemagraph attempts.
