Clarence Daniels was assaulted by Michael Foster, age 43, at a local Wal-Mart on January 20th. The firearm was concealed under Daniel's coat, which Foster spotted as Daniel was exiting his truck. Foster proceeded to follow him into the store where he tackled Daniels from behind while shouting "He's got a gun!" While under attack, Daniels continued yelling that he had a permit. It turned out that Daniels did indeed have a legal permit to carry a concealed weapon. Foster did not call 911 before attacking Daniels, nor did he make any attempt to alert store security. When police arrived on the scene, Michael Foster was arrested. He was charged with battery and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail following the incident.
