What's up, /r/NFL! Here's your weekly installment of my shitty predictions! How did your Week 7 predictions turn out? I improved to 10-5 last week, bringing me to 0.637 for the season so far. Still alive in my survival pool too, thanks Ravens. Time to predict the Week 8 matchups along with my survival pick for this week (survival pick may change later in the week due to injury reports). Remember, these picks are totally biased and not based on any common sense whatsoever. This week has the byes for two teams, so there will be one less game to watch.Let's do this!Week 8 ScheduleWinnerLoserCommentsBroncosoverChargersIt's really hard to pick against the Broncos right now as they look the most complete out of any AFC team. The Chargers are facing a string of injuries, but I think they'll still be able to keep this game close.LionsoverFalconsAtlanta looks like a hot mess right now and Detroit is rolling after that close win last week.ChiefsoverRamsThe Chiefs will have BBQ Rams ribs at all the tailgating parties, and on the field.TexansoverTitansThis could go either way. These two middle-of-the-road AFC South teams need to decide which of them is taking second in the division.BuccaneersoverVikingsReally hard to pick a winner here. Homefield should help the Bucs off their bye.SeahawksoverPanthersTough decision. If this was last year's Seahawks, I'd say it was an easy pick. Still, they are less of a hurt team than the Panthers right now.BengalsoverRavensTough call. The Ravens are rolling, but the Bengals will play them hard at home, looking to get the wins going again.DolphinsoverJaguarsSurvival Pick! Don't know what to make of this Dolphins team, but I feel confident enough that they can win against one of the worst teams in the NFL right now.PatriotsoverBearsThe Pats haven't lost at home in forever, and it won't stop this week.JetsoverBillsUpset Pick! Division games most of the time bring out the best of both teams. With that close loss last week, I think the Jets will pull out a home win this week.CardinalsoverEaglesBoth are 5-1 and very good. Gotta give it to the home team.BrownsoverRaidersThis could be the Raiders' best chance at a win this season. But I have faith in Hoyer the Destroyer.ColtsoverSteelersColts by at least a touchdown. Don't really have any other logic behind this one, just a feeling.SaintsoverPackersTotal homer pick here. Under Payton, the Saints have won 19 straight games at home. If they can find a way to finish in the 4th quarter, New Orleans will bring the noise and the voodoo to ensure a victory in primetime. The Saints are an entirely different team at home than on the road, and they almost won last week, so that should tell you something.CowboysoverRedskinsThis was going to be my survival pick, but I try to stay away from division games for those. Colt McCoy played well last week, lets see what he can do against the current NFC leader.Byes: Giants, 49ersThose are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun and please don't downvote because you didn't like what I had to say, just argue your point. Best of luck to in your survival pools and fantasy teams! via /r/nfl http://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/2jzu9c/nfl_week_8_prediction_thread/
