BASEBALL: Offseason Feature Interest - Debate Threads

Hello all!As the postseason continues those of us on the mod team are stealing glances at offseason features (during commercial breaks, otherwise most of us are glued to the on-field action!) One of the ideas kicked around was reviving the debate threads throughout the offseason, only with a slight twist.The twist is this, we were considering having two types of debate, OPEN and TWO-PERSON.OPEN debates would be the normal debate threads, we propose a debate topic and/or question, and everyone is free to be at each other's throats debating the topic.TWO-PERSON debate would be something a little new. Two users would volunteer to debate during a set time, and would debate the topic one-on-one, with the format beingPerson A OpeningPerson B Opening and ResponsePerson A Response and ClosingPerson B Closing.with comments from the general public allowed AFTER the debate is finished. TWO-PERSON may involve a panel of judges if interest is there, and possibly a baseball debate tournament if enough interest is received (details would need to be fleshed out.)Right now we are just looking to gauge interest as well as receive potential debate topics.Here's a link to the interest form.
