NFL: Do you go into the season with high hopes every year, or are you prepared for the worst?

As a cowboys fan I have been through both. Grew up in the Jimmy Johnson glory years so I always expected greatness, but now I'm in my mid 20s and my alcohol consumption rate goes up three fold every fall.
