Gif: "How can I save my gifs so they’re as high quality as possible?"

I’ve made a few cinemagraphs now but I’ve found that I can’t save the unoptimised versions of a gif I make in Photoshop. The original version looks so much better and the optimised one looks horrible as it only has 256 colours or something, it makes the picture look gritty and almost spotty. Does anyone know if there’s anything I can do to save a gif as unoptimised? Or if I should just be using different software/saving as a different format? I see people posting amazing quality ones here and I just can’t seem to get mine even close to that quality. via /r/Cinemagraphs https://www.reddit.com/r/Cinemagraphs/comments/7s7mao/how_can_i_save_my_gifs_so_theyre_as_high_quality/?utm_source=ifttt
