History: 1940's - Colossus Mark 2 computer operated by Dorothy Du Boisson (L) and Elsie Booker, (of the Women’s Royal Naval Service), at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire, England. It was used to break the codes of the German Lorenz SZ-40/42 cipher machine during WW2 [1280×800]
