DealNews: Intel Pentium 4 Class Action Settlement: $15 refund

As a result of a pending class action settlement, customers who purchased a new computer for personal use equipped with an Intel Pentium 4 processor between November 20, 2000 and December 31, 2001 or a first-generation Pentium 4 (Williamette) processor at speeds below 2GHz between January 1, 2002 and June 30, 2002 may be entitled to a $15 refund. The lawsuit alleges that Intel manipulated the performance benchmark scores for its first-generation Pentium 4 processors, and that HP aided and abetted Intel’s allegedly unlawful conduct. Click here for more information, including steps on how you can file a claim. Note that you must submit a claim form on or before April 14, 2015.
